The max9259 serializer is paired with the max9260 deserializer to jointly transmit high-speed video, audio and control data. Max9259 / max9260 can operate up to 3.125gbps for 15m shielded twisted pair (STP) cables. This serial link supports display panels from QVGA (320x240) to XGA (1280x768) or dual view WVGA (2x854x480). The embedded audio channel supports I2S up to 32 bits per sample and a sample rate of 192 kHz. The embedded control channel forms a full duplex differential UART link of 100kbps to 1Mbps between the serializer and the deserializer. The host electronic control unit (ECU) or microcontroller (FC) resides on the max9259 or max9260. In addition, the control channel can also perform ECU / FC control on peripherals on the remote side of the serial link through I2C / UART. Pre strong harmonic channel equalization extends the length of the link and improves the reliability of the link. Spread spectrum can reduce the electromagnetic interference of serial and parallel output data signals. The differential connection shall comply with iso10605 and IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection standards. The core power supply of max9259 / max9260 is 1.8V and 3.3V respectively. Both devices use I / O power from 1.8V to 3.3V. These devices have 64 pin TQFP package (10mmx10mm) and 56 pin TQFN / qfnd package (8mmx8x0.75mm) with exposure pads. The electrical performance is guaranteed to be within the vehicle temperature range of - 40nc to 105nc.
