Consumer electronic products in China refer to audio and video products related to radio and television for individuals and families, mainly including: TV sets, video disc players (VCD, SVCD, DVD), video recorders, video recorders, radios, tape recorders, music centers, record players, CD players, etc. In some developed countries, telephone, personal computer, home office equipment, home electronic health care equipment, automobile electronic products are also classified as consumer electronic products. With the development of technology and the emergence of new products and applications, digital cameras, mobile phones, PDAs and other products are also becoming emerging consumer electronic products. Since the late 1990s, information appliances integrating computer, information and communication, and consumer electronics have been widely used in family life. It has audio-visual, information processing, two-way network communication and other functions, and is composed of embedded processor, relevant supporting hardware (such as display card, storage medium, IC card or credit card reading device), embedded operating system and software package of application layer. In a broad sense, information appliances include all home appliances that can exchange information through the network system, such as PC, set-top box, HPC, DVD, super VCD, wireless data communication equipment, video game equipment, smart TV box, WebTV, etc. At present, audio, video and communication equipment are the main components of information appliances. In the long run, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, etc. will also develop into information appliances and form an integral part of intelligent appliances.
